Who is the most average insect?

For a group of powerful characters such as Hashira of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no YaibaThere will always be a lot of talk about which members are stronger and weaker – but what about the regular members? Some Hashira is stronger than others, some have more tragic backstories, and some have superior character designs. Hashira has become more important as the manga has gone on and while they have all had major influences on the series, some still have more noteworthy accomplishments than others.

Demon SlayerThe manga proves that some Hashira is much stronger than others, and it is very easy to divide the nine characters into three levels of strength. With Jyumi Himejima, Sanemi Shinzogawa and Igoro Obanai at the top, Mitsuri Kanrouji, Tengen Ozue and Shinobu Kocho at the bottom, where does that leave the rest? Let’s take a look at Giyu Tomioka, Kyojuro Rengoku, and Muichiro Tokito and why they are easily the more average than Hashira.

Please don’t make Jiu try, he hates it

The Water Hashira, Giyu Tomioka could have been one of Hashira’s strongest if he hadn’t been against overstressing himself on the grounds that he didn’t want to. Jiu spent most of the Demon Slayer Being grim and distant, and the only time he was seen in combat before the penultimate ‘Infinity Castle’ arc, his favorite fight was fought against Rui – Rank Five of the Twelve Kizuki – where he killed a demon And the You don’t have any effort in it. Even Giyu’s signature technique, Water-Breathing, Figure Eleven: Dead Calm, brings his strength to a peak in a split second, so he can exert himself for the shortest amount of time possible.

It wasn’t until his side-by-side battle with Tanjiro Kamado against Akaza that Jiu had a fight, and even then he reprimanded the villain for forcing him to do so. Giyu is one of the more average Hashira simply because, if it were up to him, he wouldn’t even be one. To his credit, Giyu was one of only two Hashira to survive in the final battle against Muzan and the higher ranks, and the last Hashira was on his feet and able to fight. However, the Lower Five was the strongest demon that Giyu had ever killed Demon Slayer – And that’s not quite as impressive as some of the other Insect’s accomplishments.

Kyojuro Rengoku was a rich kid on top of his head

One of the most subtle details in Demon Slayer Is that the insect gets paid a great deal for its work. Kyojuro Rengoku came from a long line of Flame Hashira in the Rengoku family, that is, a prestigious and wealthy family. He’s the only Shepherd who didn’t join the Demon Slayer Corps because of a personal tragedy, but rather because killing demons is exactly what his family does. None of this means that Rengoku was some kind of brat or not worthy of his title, simply as far as the characters in the series are concerned. Demon Slayer Go, he was easily the luckiest one.

It’s no coincidence that the most powerful insect has incredibly tragic back stories, and while Kyojuro lost his mother to disease when he was young, his leadership simply didn’t compare to others like Gyomei or Iguro. Kyojuro was in the middle of the group as far as he gets in terms of strength. He single-handedly saved 200 lives aboard the Mugen Train, but he was no match for Akaza, the Rank Three – the demon who was fought almost equally by Jyo Tomioka later in the manga. The impact of Kyojuro’s death was palpable for the rest of the series, but with Hashira gone he was pretty ordinary in terms of strength.

Moichiro Tokito is the most average demon slayer hashira

The Mist Hashira, Tokito was powerful enough for 1v1 with a top five rank and win, but from his stoic character to his non-fictional character design, he’s easily the most “skilled” of all Hashira. The others all hid their uniforms in the Demon Slayer Corps to varying degrees, making them stand out in a crowd, but Muichiro was only wearing a loose-fitting version of the standard uniform to make his movements more difficult. Combine his lackluster looks with his general cool, and he’ll nearly make him as generic as any of the Insect – even if he’s arguably the most powerful swordsman on this list.

It is conceivable that Gyokko, a Rank Five, was not as powerful as his title should have been given, considering Muichiro was literally chopped to pieces by Kokushibo, a Rank One. Muichiro was completely helpless for most of his battle against the most powerful demon Muzan Kibutsuji had ever made, while two of his powerful companions had to do most of the work.

To be fair, Gyomei and Sanemi wouldn’t have defeated Kokushibo without the wound inflicted on him by the dying Muichiro. If he lived during this meeting – and was Demon Slayer He devoted more time to his character than to his history – Muichiro may not have found himself with the title of Most Average Hashira after his death.
