The second season of the third chapter of Fortnite is approaching, and there is a brand new live event on the horizon that will start the third season after the war between IO and Seven ends. The latest Fortnite update brought the IO Doomsday to the island, and it looks like this will be the center of the upcoming live event as it’s starting to send out weird buzzes. This isn’t the first Doomsday event that Fortnite has staged, but this event is likely to have catastrophic consequences given the conflict nature of this season. Here’s everything you need to know about Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 Live Event Finale.
When is the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 finale live event?
The final live event of Chapter 3 of Season 2 of Fortnite will take place on Friday 3 June, which is the same day the current Battle Pass expires. Epic Games has not yet revealed when the event will take place, but we know it will happen right before the servers shut down for maintenance prior to the launch of Chapter 3 of Season 3 just as with any other live event at the end of the season.
There hasn’t been a real live event in Fortnite since the climaxing end of Chapter 2 of Season 8, which saw the island flip to celebrate the start of Fortnite Chapter 3. Season 1 of Chapter 3 introduced new action mechanics and Spider-Man, and Season 2 added a zero build mode. While Chapter 3 was huge when it came to new mechanics and crossovers, it lacked the action section.
Epic Games always announces the timing of live events well in advance, so keep an eye Fortnite Twitter page for details. There are roughly two weeks left in Chapter 3 of Season 2, so expect to see the news soon.
Countdown to live event
Like most Fortnite live events, this event will have a countdown in the lobby once the season approaches its conclusion. The countdown was already found in the game files after the 20.40 update, so all that’s left for Epic Games is to enable it. This will likely happen after the official announcement of the live event.
Epic Games has already started teasing the live event on social media, so expect a countdown to appear in the game in the next few days. He’ll definitely appear in the lobby, but don’t be surprised to see him during matches either because that’s been the case with a few countdown timers in the past.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 Event Leak
We already know a lot about the live action from Chapter 3 of Season 2, and it’s expected to be a big event. The IO will activate the Doomsday device during the event as a last resort against the Seven, and this will likely be what we will be playing during the event. Pulses of energy are already starting to emerge from the Doomsday, so things are getting hotter.
The event will include a special lobby animation before it begins, and all players will jump into special tubes in the ground to get into the match when the event begins. This is related to the battle theme, as the teams will be deployed to the final battle of the war during the event.
The most exciting thing about the live action from Chapter 3 of Season Two is how the Seven plan to counter IO’s plans. The teasers released for the event confirm that the captain of Team Mecha (yes, one from Chapter 1 of Season 9) will reappear during the event. Players have speculated that the Machine ended up on the moon after its first live event, and its remains can be seen in the new lobby that is currently in-game.
Everything points to a battle taking place between IO and Seven as Mecha Team Leader is deployed against IO superweapon. Players can also fight on the seven moon base seen in the current lobby, which is the same place where the meteor originated in Chapter 1. It still has to be seen what happens after the event, but it looks like something space-related will happen in Chapter 3 Season 3.
It is an electronic game Now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.
