The Apex Legends Season 13 update is coming mid-season, and it’s set to bring a variety of changes to the battle royale. Here are the patch notes for the Apex Legends 13.1 update, including the release date, Lifeline Town Takeover, and more.

Apex Legends will receive a fresh new mid-point update from Saviors: Season 13. Update 13.1 is set to bring some new content and various changes to the game, including improvements, Legends game extinctions and the Awakening Collection Event.

What is the update date for Apex Legends 13.1?

Apex Legends 13.1 patch update is set to release on Jun 21, 2022 around 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.

Respawn confirmed this date with his recent blog about the Awakening Collection Event, which will bring the legacy of Valkyrie to the game.

Lifeline Clinic

Apex Legends Update 13.1 will bring a new city takeover to Olympus for Lifeline called “Lifeline’s Clinic”. This new point of interest is “a new place to heal and relax. This modern, state-of-the-art building is located among the gardens and towers of Puppy, in the northeast corner of Olympus.”

Med-bay is located in the center of the clinic’s main floor. With that, Legends can take advantage of the more accurate robotic healing system in Outlands. When the injured legends stand on the platform, the healing rope will be activated and attached to them. If Med-bay is shipped, they will get continuous recovery. Additionally, Med-bay’s holographic displays will indicate if someone is recovering, or if the Med-bay is recharging.

If you want better loot, just head to the Emergency Stand at the back and use the care pack console located there. Make sure to access it first as you can only use the console once per game.

Apex Legends 13.1 . balance changes

Like any major update, Apex Legends 13.1 patch will bring some improvements and contractions to Legends and many other balance changes:

  • The R-301 and Rampage were removed from manufacture and added to the floor swag.
  • Wingman and CAR SMG have been added to the industry and removed from the floor swag.

Out of bounds

  • Weapons and Abilities will now only be stored in the OOB player when the player is on the ground (the OOB timer will continue to run).

Bow Bocek

  • The default version of Optic on Gold is set to 3x Ranger.

Mirage

  • Traps from Valk Skydive Re-Deploy can now be used.

Lifeline

  • Fight revival
    • The option to cancel the revive has been moved from Lifeline to the player being revived.
  • DOC Healing Drone
    • Healing pool increased from 150 to infinite (still lasts 20 seconds).
    • Double the healing radius.
  • care package
    • Cooldown time was reduced from 5 minutes to 3.5 minutes.
    • The plate attached to the weapon now comes with a shield battery instead of two shield cells.
    • No blue beam on initial landing (it will still appear after care package landing).

These lifeline buffs are set to make positive changes to all parts of her group, but mostly to her healing drone.

  • Fixed a loophole allowing players to throw grenades or use an Ash ult to enter through a hole in Armories’ roof collision net (hotfix).

Currently, the value of the first three filters is about 100%. The next three have a value of about 80%, and anything after that has a value of about 20%. We’re changing it so that the value of each band decreases by about 20%, keeping 20% ​​as a minimum. This will give the winning teams with high eliminations about 40 to 60 again.

Apex Legends 13.1 update brings back control

Apex Legends control

Fan favorite LTM Control returns in patch 13.1 with some major changes. Not only will the mode now run on World’s Edge, but there are several quality of life updates included in the blog.

Check out our part about control changes for more information, for now, here are the full patch notes:

  • Reboot the match time timeout, you have new logic to specify when the match should end which should solve the issue where matches end early
  • Give players a full recovery period if they have one when they die
  • Adjust the ratings awarded when you multiply on the main base from 75 percent to 50 percent to the next level.
  • Fixed an issue where players at the end of the podium would be in random locations rather than grouped together into their teams.
  • Reducing wave propagation times…
    • Max screen time old: 20 seconds New: 15 seconds.
    • Old wave maximum propagation time: 12 seconds New: 10 seconds.
    • Old maximum time to propagate the first wave: 20 seconds New: 15 seconds.
  • Notable enemy features and enemy vehicle are turned off.
  • Forcing players to drain the neutral point’s capture progress before they start making the capture progress for their team; If the capture is made progress on a neutral point by the enemy team.

  • Players now gain ratings for team actions like Zone Neutralization or Capture even if they participate in the action and get personal ratings from it as well (previously the player would have had one or the other).
  • Players will no longer receive the “Playing With Team Rankings” bonus for ratings gained from breaking the Lock, and the additional Timed Capture event being completed.
  • Removed Squad Wipe rankings bonus when killing an enemy.
  • Added HUD message when Lockout is no longer available in a match (displayed again if Lockout conditions are met when Lockout is no longer available).
  • Control: Move the scoreboard to the inventory as the first tab. Changed the scoreboard button to be the same as the inventory button on the repost screen.
  • Arenas: Moved the scoreboard to the second tab in the inventory and added new tracked player information (passes and crafting materials), and team wins rounds.
  • Scoreboard added as a tab while watching in the arenas
  • Added scoreboard as a tab at the end of the game for both arenas and control
  • Updated the art and placement of the shields that revamp the UI on the HUD to sit on top of the players unit frame

Game bug fixes

The update will also bring the following game bug fixes:

  • Crypto can now scan reconnaissance beacons with his drone while riding a Trident.
  • Fixed a bug where Newcastle could get stuck in the air for a few seconds when using their Ultimate while being trapped by an Ash Tactical.
  • Fixed a Newcastle bug where players could instantly fill the recovery shield by throwing and picking a Knockdown Shield back up.
  • Fixed Newcastle bug where players could not reload while ‘Destroy Wall’ prompt appears on the screen.
  • Fix Newcastle bug where using his Ultimate would result in longer postings than intended.

  • Fix for Rampage / Sentinel for cases where charging animations appear but won’t charge when shooting locations.
  • Fixed cases where Bloodhound and Seer scans continue after the user leaves the game.
  • [Caustic] – Fixed a bug where players could still see the enemy’s red light while they were in or behind the gas they’re deploying.
  • The blood spatter effect no longer appeared when Ash was shot.
  • Fixed cases where the Amped Up UI persists after a Seer uses the Passive Heart Seeker app.
  • [Control Mode] – Fixed a bug where an enemy team would continue to advance the capture point without having to flip or undo the other team’s progress.
  • [Control Mode] – Fixed a bug in the user interface where the penalty for an abandoned game is longer than the screen warning.
  • [Control Mode] – Fixed a bug where selecting a weapon in Control mode would always show a full mag.
  • Fixed cases where players seemed to keep their thermite grenade after it was equipped while using it in an explosive fist.
  • [PS4 Pro / Xbox One X] – Fixes to improve frame rate issues while playing in some areas in Olympus.
